● 8:30-9:00 a.m: Our local licensed tour guide will meet you at your hotel or the meet-up point, help you to wear helmets and check the bike, then ride with you to the pottery village. He will tell you the history of the village, show you around the village and let you meet some local people who will be willing to help you try to make a product from clay.

● 9:30-10:00 a.m: Our local guide will lead you to go to the Carpentry village. After riding in about 20 minutes, you will approach the village. On the way, you will enjoy a cup of coffee at a local cafe, see a lot of beautiful scenery such as small fishing boats on the river, water buffalos, rice paddies… When you enter the village, you will see the locals carving or sculpting wooden products, some others sticking beautiful pieces of mother of pearls on wooden products. These young sculptors have inherited this traditional craft from many previous generations. Riding on small paths around the carpentry village, you will visit some local families making a bamboo basket boat and weaving sleeping mats, you will be instructed to weave the mat. If you are skillful enough, you can stay and work with the family.

● 10:30-11:00 p.m: You and our tour guide will leave the village to ride to a lantern workshop where you will learn how to make a Hoian lantern by yourself.

● 11:30-12:00 Ride back to your hotel or the meet-up point in the city.

● 12:00-12:30 p.m: Tour ends. On behalf of our company, our tour guide will say “thank you” to you and we hope to serve you again soon.

The total distance for riding is about 15-20 km.

We organize this tour in the morning (from 8:30 a.m to 12:00), in the afternoon (from 13:30 p.m to 17:00 p.m)
