FULL ITINERARY
DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL ( NO MEAL) - No guide
Welcome to Hanoi, a city of more than 1000 years old. Your guide will meet you at the airport and drive to check in your hotel in Hanoi center. Time to relax after a long flight. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HALONG FULL DAY (Share tourist bus & cruise of Halong bay)[B/L]
07h30 – 08h00: Pick-up at hotel and start the scenic, 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta countryside and have a short break on the way.
12h45 – 16h00 : You arrive at Tuan Chau Harbour. Then embark the Incredible Asia Journeys – Day cruise followed by a short cruise briefing. Start a dreamy cruise to stunning scenery with thousands of limestone mountains and have seafood lunch (we serve you with Vietnamese traditional dishes, in case you are vegetarian, we have other food options for you) while cruising through the emerald water passing by the Dog Stone, the Burning Incense islet, stop at Ba Hang fishing village for kayaking or sit in a bamboo boat rowed by locals. After the visiting of Fighting-Cock island and the Heavenly Palace (Thien Cung cave) – which has opened to the public since 1998 with stalagmites and stalactites. Back to the Incredible Asia Journeys – Day cruise.
16h00-16h30: Have tea break while enjoying local finger food (green bean cake – a specialty of Hai Duong province) and sunset in Halong Bay.
16h45 – 17h15 Arrive at the harbor. Disembark and get on the bus back to Hanoi.
At around 20h30 - 21h00: Arrive in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi
DAY 3 : HANOI CITY TOUR (Join group tour)[B/L]
Option1: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday – (Ha Noi City Tour - Ethnology Museum)
07:40 - 8:30 Meet your tour guide .
- Start the trip with Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake.
- Visit Ho Chi Minh’s complex, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; his house-on-stilts and One pillar pagoda – modeled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi.
- Arrive at the Ethnology museum to learn about the cultures of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. Have a rest and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter.
- Visit Temples of Literature constructed in 1070 - dedicated to Confucius, sages and talented scholars. It is the most famous temple in Hanoi, also functioning as Vietnam's first university.
- Leave for a legendary Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son Temple dedicated to a former general commander Tran Hung Dao for his struggle against Mongolians.
16:00 Arrive back in your hotel. Tour ends.
Option 2 : Monday, Wednesday, Friday (Ha Noi City – Bat Trang Ceramics Village )
07:45 - 08:30 Meet your tour guide at your suggested places around Hanoi Old Quarter.
- Start the trip with Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake.
- Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; his house-on-stilt and One pillar pagoda – modeled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi.
- Visit the Temple of Literature constructed in 1070 dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars. It was also the first university of Viet Nam once.
Relax and have lunch at a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter.
- Explore daily life of traditional ceramics village of Bat Trang. Visit showrooms and see how they model the products.
- Arrive at legendary Hoan Kiem lake. Visit Ngoc Son Temple dedicated to Tran Hung Dao - General Commander for his struggle against Mongolians.
15:30 Drop you off. Overnight in Hanoi
DAY 4: HANOI - CAT CAT VILLAGE - Join group tour [B, L, D]
6:30 - 7:00 – Our driver and tour guide will come and pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi to depart for Sapa.
10:00 – Follow the highway to Lao Cai City with a comfortable short break on the way to Sapa.
13:00 – Arrive at Sapa town and be amazed by the colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic people. Enjoy welcome drinks and itinerary briefing. Then, have lunch with local Vietnamese dishes before the hotel check-in.
14:30 – Start hiking downhill to Cat Cat village at the bottom of Muong Hoa Valley. Enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful valley towards Fansipan – the highest peak in Vietnam and Indochina. Upon arrival at the village, you will have a chance to visit the Black H'mong traditional stilt houses as well as watch people weaving, embroidering, and drying their clothes, etc. Then, keep walking to visit the dramatic and picturesque Cat Cat Waterfall, which is a great spot for photo-shoots.
17:00 – Return to Sapa town for dinner. Enjoy your free time in the afternoon to explore Sapa Market and town. Overnight in Sapa
DAY 5: SAPA - Y LINH HO - LAOCHAI - TAVAN - HANOI [B/L]
8:00 – Have breakfast at the hotel.
9:00 – Begin trekking from Sapa towards another part of Muong Hoa Valley where you can see the magnificent landscapes of the mountainous region. Trek through Y Linh Ho, the village of the Black H’mong, then continue the adventure through lush rice terraces to visit Lao Chai village and experience the Black H'mong’s daily life and traditional culture.
11:30 – Arrive at Ta Van village of Tay minority, which is exhibiting a strong influence from Chinese culture. Take a bus ride to return to Sapa.
14:30 –Free time in Sapa for refreshment.
15:15 – Catch a bus to travel back to Hanoi.
21:15 – Arrive in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi
DAY 6: HOALU - TAMCOC FULL DAY (Join group tour) [B/L]
7H45 - 8H15 AM: Pick you up at 8.00am at a hotel in Hanoi, then depart for NinhBinh city towards the South of Hanoi, it takes about 2,5 hours to get there(130 km). Arrive in Hoa Lu, visit Hoa Lu - The Ancient Capital and the remaining two temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty (968-80), and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty (980-1009)
Then from here drive to Tam Coc grottoes (16 km from Hoa Lu) to have a buffet lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant with local food (1hr).
PM: (Optional ) Ride bicycle along the village roads with beautiful countryside landscape and friendly local people.
Take an exciting boat ride in Tam Coc grottoes (Halong on land) that we will enjoy the spectacular scenery while gliding along the river among rice paddies and ranges of limestone mountains peaking up towers over you (2 hrs). Return to Hanoi at around 5 pm. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 7: HANOI DEPARTURE - No guide [B]
Enjoy some free time for last purchases or simply relax before your transfer to the airport for your departure flight home. Safe and happy travel! End of our services!
